GENERAL DATA PROTECTION REGULATION (GDPR) COMPLIANCY POLICY

Centile Telecom Applications (“Centile”) is committed to the privacy of the data you have entrusted to us. We have a firm commitment that your data is only used for the express purposes of the data collection, in a clear and transparent manner.

Centile has implement the GDPR as part of its communications and product development policy and fully recognizes and complies with your rights as data subject.

1.Information on the data controller

Centile is the data controller of any personal data supplied by you.

2. Personal data we collect about you and purposes of processing

We have collected your personal data because you have contacted us personally or through our web page. Your date will be solely utilized for the purposes of commercial marketing and information such as press releases, newsletters, events organization, webinars and general contacts.

For these purposes we process certain categories of personal data, which will in general be as follows: 

  • your basic identity data (for example your first and last name, etc.);
  • your contact details (for example phone number, email address, etc.);
  • commercial information about your interest in our products and services;
  • any other information you may voluntarily provide us with (for example, through our Customer Support service, etc.)

4. Authorization for the processing of personal data

Centile will not disclose your personal data to any third parties, except under legal or judicial obligation to do so. Centile may use data processor for the purposes listed above, all of which have provided guaranties to Centile with regards to the confidentiality of their services. 

5. Your rights

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

Right to withdraw consent – where applicable, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. For example, if you wish to opt-out of receiving marketing communications, you can use the “unsubscribe” link provided in our emails or otherwise contact us directly and we will stop sending you communications.

Right of access, rectification and erasure – you have the right to request access to any of your personal data that we may hold, to request correction of any inaccurate data relating to you and, under certain circumstances, to request the deletion of your personal data. 

Right to restriction of processing – you have the right to restrict our processing of your personal data where: 

  • you contest the accuracy of the personal data until we have taken sufficient steps to correct or verify its accuracy;-
  • the processing is unlawful but you do not want us to erase the data;
  • we no longer need your personal data for the purposes of the processing, but you require such data for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims; or
  • you have objected to processing justified on legitimate interest grounds (see below) pending the verification as to whether we have overriding compelling legitimate grounds to continue the processing.

Where personal data is subject to restriction in this way, we will only process it with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. 

Right to object to the processing – provided that the conditions of the law are met, you have the right to object to processing of your personal data.

6. Data security 

Centile uses appropriate technical, physical, legal and organizational measures, which comply with data protection laws to keep your personal data secure. 

As most of the personal data we hold is stored electronically we have implemented appropriate IT security measures to ensure this personal data is kept secure, including the use of encryption, access restriction and extensive logging and auditing functionality in our production systems. We have procedures in place at our premises to keep any hard copy records physically secure. We also train our staff regularly on data protection and information security. 

7. Retention period 

We will keep your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which we collect it, always taking into consideration the applicable statute of limitations or until such time when you may exercise you right to object. 

8. Cookies 

Centile website, email messages, and advertisements may use cookies and other technologies such as pixel tags and web beacons. These technologies help Centile provide a better service and tell which parts of the Centile’s websites you have visited, and facilitate and measure the effectiveness of advertisements and web searches. Cookies may be used for other purposes such as authentication and storing site preferences. Cookies may be encrypted for information privacy and data security purposes. Cookies may be set by the server with or without an expiration date. If permitted by the user’s browser, cookies may be declined. However, website functionality as identified above may no longer be available. 

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy 

We review this Privacy Policy regularly and reserve the right to make changes at any time to take account of changes in our business activities, legal requirements, and the manner in which we process personal data.
